Introduced to Global View Capital in 2010 through Dale Black when he became their financial advisor, in 2017, Laurie began working part time for Dale Black as an office assistant. She really enjoyed working with people, and with her love of numbers, she decided to work to become a licensed advisor herself. Laurie became life insurance licensed in June 2022, and then became a registered advisor in February 2023. She enjoys being part of the team of amazing people at Global View Capital Advisors, and she truly loves being able to help clients find and enjoy financial independence.

Laurie was born in Southern California, then lived in Lewisville, Texas for several years before moving to Provo, Utah during her high school years. She attended BYU (Brigham Young University) in pre-nursing before meeting her husband, marrying, and becoming mother to six wonderful children. She and her husband own a successful photography studio in Utah Valley where Laurie has been the bookkeeper, office manager, and photo retoucher for the past several years.

Laurie and her husband now have 14 grandchildren. In her free time, Laurie enjoys being with her family and exploring all of the beautiful landscapes in the Pleasant Grove area. She feels incredibly lucky to live in what she considers the most beautiful part of the country, and she enjoys kayaking all over the beautiful state of Utah. Lauri always aims to make each day count both professionally and personally.
